The Espace
Durable Gallery is very pleased to host the exhibition "Between tradition
and modernity” by the artist Stéphanie Turrian. An exceptional opportunity to
discover or rediscover fascinating works, full of colour and realism.
The exhibition will be held at Espace Durable Gallery from 02 October 2020 to 01 May 2021.
The public
is cordially invited to the official opening of this exhibition on Friday 02
October 2020 from 16:00 to 20:00, in the presence of the artist.
Stéphanie Turrian
After
studying art and drawing at the Academy of Meuron,
Stéphanie Turrian devoted
more than ten years to ceramics and materials research.
Based on this
experience, she returned to painting, combining the effect of materials and
bright colours. Her animals and portraits of a natural realism rise up from
colours that give them pop and psychedelic looks.
At the same
time, she explores the world of textiles where her boundless creativity invents
clothing lines that combine colour and materials in joyfully crazy effects.
