The paths are situated in the heart of one of the most beautiful nature reserves of Pro Natura. To limit the disruption towards flora and fauna, we invite all visitors to respect the recommendations (follow the paths, dog on a leash, no fire...), to use public transport, or to leave their car at l'Etivaz to reach the alpine pasture at Pâquier-Mottier, on foot or by bike. No welcoming is provided at the alp chalet!
Address: Alpage Pâquier Mottier, route de la Torneresse 33, 1660 L'Etivaz (map), altitude 1375 m
Access by public transport: 4.3 km and 230 m of ascent from the post stop Maison de l'Etivaz in the centre of L’Etivaz village (1h-1h1/4 walking or 45-50 min cycling).
Access by car: Parking spaces at L'Etivaz (near the cheese caves) and parking spaces (limited) near the water intake, 2.7 km from L'Etivaz village. The road is then closed. Expect a 25–30-minute walk of 1.6 km and a 90 m difference in altitude to Pâquier-Mottier (path along the stream or alpine road).
People with reduced mobility can contact us to obtain permission to drive to the chalet.
