Educational Farm Experience: The Outdoor Education Week 2023
As part of Outdoor Education Week 2023, an international week dedicated to outdoor education organized by HEP Vaud, we had the pleasure of welcoming four students on September 27th for a presentation of our activities and our project.
We placed a special emphasis on our approach to education through farm activities, and the students had the opportunity to visit our property for a hands-on experience in the heart of our green meadows!
Furthermore, they were able to explore the "Sentier de la Transition" and engage in a conversation with Esther about her journey as a farmer-naturopath-entrepreneur and mother of three children who are homeschooled.
This experience was an enriching opportunity for the students, and we are delighted to have been able to share our passion for outdoor education and sustainability with them.

The Haute École Pédagogique du Canton de Vaud organized, for the first time, this international week dedicated to outdoor education. From September 25th to 29th, 2023, over a hundred students and teachers from the University of Teacher Education of Vaud and six European university institutions gathered in Château-d’Oex for the "Outdoor Education Week 2023," under the guidance of field experts.
