PRESENTATION OF THE « Sentier de la Transition »
On October 6th, we were fortunate to experience a sunny summer day, ideal for the presentation of the "Sentier de la Transition" (Transition Trail) 🌿! This event brought together around seventy individuals passionate about sustainability throughout the day, including students from the John F. Kennedy International School, for a memorable experience.
The agenda included a demonstration of field drilling by our partner, Groupe Grisoni, and an explanation by GEOTEST AG, offering a fascinating experience to better understand our environment and soil. Additionally, Mr. Pittet from Pittet Artisans Sàrl enriched our understanding of the different layers of soil and the possibilities for reusing its materials for sustainable construction. Participants had the opportunity to ask questions and share their ideas and viewpoints. 💡🏗️
We also unveiled and presented the 15 educational panels of the "Sentier de la Transition", covering a variety of sustainability-related topics. These panels will remain on the farm until early November before being installed at their permanent location in Château-d'Œx 📆🌱
Our partner, Romande Energie, also participated in this friendly farm event by bringing together its various energy partners from French-speaking Switzerland, providing them with the opportunity to discover the Votre Cercle de Vie project. ⚡
